I live in Sault Ste Marie, MI. There are a lot of small local sawmills that cut white cedar around here that don't advertise. For clear or pretty clear cedar 8' boards you might try Besteman Sawmill in Rudyard, MI (1-906-478-5412). They cut a lot of cedar and set aside lumber that is clear or pretty clear. Or, if you want longer cedar boards try The Cedar Shop in Brimley (906-248-3392).
