Below is a photo of me racing my Black Skimmer. I designed it as a Greenland competion kayak for rolling and racing, but making the cockpit longer for bringing the knees up slightly and adding a rudder made it convert to a wing paddle racer pretty nicely. I was 2 minutes and 45 seconds slower in it than I was in an elite level surfski on the same 9 mile course last year. It's not as fast as a surfski and doesn't catch the bumbs quite as well, but it's nice for those cold days when I want to keep my butt warm and dry.
