Hello all,
If any of you saw the post of the cradle boat I built for Petra, and you are thinking about building one, I have the forms and patterns, which include the transom, strakes, and even the dinghy davits all cut from 3/16" plywood, and the station moulds cut from 1/2" plywood. All are cut out and edge sanded. It would save you a WHOLE lot of time. Just lay the pattern on your wood, cut, and go, except with any lapstrake boat you will cut the strakes one at a time and check the fit of each. It all depends on how accurate your keel is but the patterns will let you check the fit and then cut the actual strake.
I will not give it to anyone until they verify that they have bought plans from Jordan Wood Boats, as I am only giving these to someone who bought plans and wants to save time on the build by not having to make patterns and station molds.
These patterns are perfect to the plans and I did not have to adjust the strakes at all- the patterns were spot on. If you set up the forms to the correct measurements and if you make your keel exactly to plan then these are proven with my build to be right on the money. The only strake I had to adjust was the gar board to make it fit tight to my keel, but all the others the pattern was exact even at the bow.
FREE- you pay only shipping with USPS from the US Virgin Islands. Probably won't be much over $20. They won't fit a flat-rate box. Paypal is best way to pay me. I just don't want to trash them because of all the work I put into them so I am offering them up to the first to respond to this. Will ship worldwide at your expense.
