Personally I wouldn't use the Sea Dog/Sea-Lect/Duckworks braces because I've seen a few of them malfunction while on the water by coming off their track ... which required disassembly to fix.

Any idea what caused them to fail? Was it just one set of has it happened more than one?

Reason I ask is I sell a lot of these and put them in my boats. Never had the first problem with them or heard a single complaint from anyone. I am not defending them, it just if there is a problem I want to know what it is.
