Forget about it. Anyone who has ever hung door hinges knows how tricky it can be. And that's on something that has all straight lines. The problem is hinge pins have to be on the exact same centers for the hinges to operate freely. If you look at your picture closely the plastic hull has two bumps where the hinges are mounted. That lines the the hinge pins up in one plane. Then it's only a matter of lining the pins up in the other plane. You won't do this on the curved deck of a stripper without some ugly modifications and probably a certain amount of hair pulling. Remember, the folks who make plastic kaymaks have an engineering staff that figures everyrhing out before they mold the first hull. They probably have a drilling fixtue that guarantees the screw holes are in the right place.
