You're testing my medium term memory here ...

This was on a plastic boat and it happened when we were long boat surfing. The lower edge of the left foot pad thingie became disengaged from the track and also got jammed all the way forward between the underside of the deck and the track. On shore several of us tried to pop it back on the track but we couldn't do it without tools ... although had we been able to reach in and get better leverage it may have been possible. We had no explanation as to how it happened ... there was nothing obvious ... and they seemed to be constructed and designed well enough to prevent such a thing ... so it seemed a bit of a fluke to me.

Any idea what caused them to fail? Was it just one set of has it happened more than one?

Reason I ask is I sell a lot of these and put them in my boats. Never had the first problem with them or heard a single complaint from anyone. I am not defending them, it just if there is a problem I want to know what it is.
