Mike,

Great tip on the CA glueing technique. I will try a few viscosities, I would assume that lower would be better but... I was also thinking that I will need to put a reference mark on the boat and cloth pre pattern cutting to be sure to get it back in a proper orientation/length at both ends of the boat, hate to come up sort as they say.
