I am not to good with the pictures yet but will try to get some better ones out there. The deck was skinned with thin cedar strips and than the rounds where glued on. For filler I used micro balloons and cabisil. The hard part was the hatch covers. I took some thick rounds and put them threw the deck and had to grind the outside and inside to get the curve of the deck. For the seat which I made first to see if I could use the rounds for the boat, I took a mini cell foam seat and used it as a form. First glassed the seat than added the rounds sanded it and glassed agian. I am trying to come up with an artistic way to hold down the hatches. Maybe some kinda of braided thin brown bungee cord to look like a branch. I am waiting for the weather to warm up to really finish it. I have five coats of varnish and I just can't get that nice last coat. Joe
