Finally got back on the water yesterday. First time in close to six weeks I think! Went up Short Creek which is appropriately named, to the head waters where the rapids start or end, depending if you are white water of flat water paddler. With all the rain there is a lot of wet weather creeks and waterfalls to see. Water was really flowing through the rapids. Was really good to be back on the water.

Pulled my Curlew down and paddled it. Been a while and forgot how much I like this boat. Stopped on a sandbar that is being taken over by cattails for a quick relief stop on the way to the rapids. Snapped this photo
