I'm so excited. I bought my bead & cove bit some years ago determined to give it a try so I'd know what I'm talking about when I explain why rolling bevels are so superior, but I could never actually go through with it. I've picked it up and eyeballed it more times than I can recall, then put it back down and sharpened my plane iron and got busy.
But now I'm making a louvered panel for a closet door for my RV, similar to what you see on boats, and the slats are gonna be 1/4" x 1". Bet you can see where the bit comes in. I'll try a cove or two on some scrap for funsies, sure.
Man, I thought it it was going to end up an immaculate museum piece there for a while....
