I was at my lumber supplier yesterday picking up some materials and noticed they had a lot of really nice Spanish cedar. The cost seemed reasonable and the color and grain were really nice.

I looked through the search and only found a couple of mentions of folks using it for building. Most seemed to be using it for details, not the main material for the boat.

Has anyone used this material in a build? I know it is a little heavier. Is it hard to work? Durable?

I was thinking of purchasing some to use on my next boat.
