I have good success aligning mismatched hull to deck marriages by using this method. Cut some of your scrap wood strips about 2 inches long. Locate the narrowest part of the hull relative to the deck. At this point, on both sides of the hull super glue 3 or 4 scraps on their narrow sides , on the outside of the hull,so that about one inch sticks up above the sheer line. Be sure to contour the sides of the strips at the contact areas to the hull so that they stick up on a vertical plane. Ease the deck onto the hull . The teeth you glued on will spread the hull and hold the areas of concern flush while you strap the sides together with tape. Then use the dot of super glue every few inches on the sheer line, the tack weld method if you will. You might want to add a extra bit of fill coat on the areas that you will work on, so you can grind off the glue without worry. I hope this makes sense to you. I has worked for me. all the best rh
