Hi Sean,

Thanks for the picture and link!

Went to a few Home Depots nearby - apparently their distribution of Birch Plywood is not consistent from region to region - down here in South Florida - they only come in 2x4 and 4x8 panels - and they look like they may be riddled with voids (from the side profile looks like quite a few holes) - the 1/2" is only 5 layers - looks like yours is 12 layers - more layers is better?
