I don't know. It was my initial hope that I could do something sustainably with bamboo, and I tried some but found that I would need a larger free space to handle the cumbersome process of bending it. My impatience in comming on the water has put the bamboo-kayak to some future project .. it's definately something to look into. I think that I previously mentioned the absense of bamboo as a major design-flaw, but the aluminium works has some degree of predictabillity (as of my skills right now).
