Very nice boats and very good building logs. I always do not take enough pictures to much taken by building. I am not a photograper like you.
I have a question about building the Fire Star. I started finally but have much trouble with my flexible poplar strips becaus of the big distance between the frames. I did build the Night Heron with the same wood and strip thickness an had no problems than. But now I have to use a guide strip of WRC which is much stiffer in the same thickness (4.8 mmm).
I have only placed two keel strips and two shearstrips on each side but they wobble.
Think I have to mill new thicker strips.
What strip thickness did you use on the North Star?
