In Response To: Skin-on-Frame: Epoxy for lashings, plywood, coaming, AL tubing? (Bob)
I am in South Florida - its currently around 80 or so degrees, will be getting in the 90s with 90+ humidity soon - should I consider their "tropical" hardener?
Yes! Especially if you haven't used epoxy much in the past, you don't need the adventure of your mixed epoxy quickly turning to a smoking mass.
Building in a barn in Ontario, I found that high heat and humidity (90/90) made the amine blush problem worse, so probably a good idea to wash/scrub (with water) before re-coating, no matter what epoxy you use.
