Nice stuff!
I've never made any tools, only jigs…
However, for a future project I was thinking about building a strip-ripping device using a knife instead of a saw blade. Due to the nature of WRC kayak strips I think there should be a way of cutting instead of sawing without breaking the wood. This might be a totally bad Idea but I think with a plane iron ground to a very low angle with straight exits for board and strip it could work…
I just find sawing strips such a wasteful procedure.
