Now that you mention it it seems I have made some tools in my day. You mentioned saws and saw handles.

The upper is a bow saw I made about twenty five years ago. It works pretty good but I do not use it much, the band saw is so much quicker, easier and less effort. The lower saw is an arbor saw that I carry with me in a holster made of old fire hose. I do trail maintainence on the Appalachian Trail and it is a wonderful saw for trimming small to medium size blowdowns . The blade is an $8 Corona purchased at the BORG. The handle was made from fom a scrap of curly maple I had around the shop for many years.

The blade and the handles are all solvable problems, but I have not been able to find the bolts that fasten the handle to the blade. These bolts were scavenged from some toy train axles. A decision I may regret some day.
