Hi All,
I am building two Yost Sea Fleas for my kids. One 11' and one 12'. I have the cross sections on the strongback for the 11' kayak and the stringers cut. On the Yostwerks website it says bow and stern not pre-determined. Can somebody recommend how long it should be from section 1 to the bow of the kayak and how long from section 4 to the stern? Do I just split the difference front and back to get it to 11' length overall or should it be longer in front? And, are the bow and stem plywood sections built based on my best guess on how it looks or are there any recommendations on the angle for the bow and stern, length, etc.? Any and all thoughts would be appreciated for this skin-on-frame newbie. Thanks.
