Have a smarttrack rudder for the new Yukon. Do not have a stern bracket to mount it on and want to know about drilling and setting it into the stern? I have enough wood and strenght for it but am concerned that it could ride up as there is nothing to hold it down.
Wish to know what others have done to avoid the rudder mount bracket?
I can't think of any good way to hold it down...maybe time to buy the bracket?
Thoughts?
