I saw this stuff on large scale furniture production and it's pretty impressive.
However, I am asking myself if it makes a lot of sense in kayaks/canoes. Setting up a steambox/-pipe is a no-brainer, works reliably and comes at a fraction of the cost…
Bending wood always scared me until I did it for the first time. It's so easy and convenient, I wish I could do this more often ;-)
