I've used 1 qt for 2 coats on the bottom and one on the top. So if I use primer as filler it will take a second qt to get a finish coat. Of course with the weave filled it should take less per coat.

At $50/qt topcoat, 2qts total and $25 to drive to the local West Marine, I wish I had bought a gallon to start with. Mail order from West would have been $125 with no shipping cost. Then I would have an extra 1/2 gal left.
Some days I wonder how smart I really am.
