S&G: Murrelet ready for seal coat *PIC*

I've finally gotten the seams fair and everything sanded smooth on my Murrelet. Ready to add seal coat and glass.

I have talked to several people who said that this was the stage where they added too much weight to their kayak by adding too much epoxy. I'd like to understand better how this happens and how to avoid it, since one of my reasons for getting a wooden boat was that it was lightweight!

Advice?

ps. No reason for the picture except that I see people write that they like to see pictures. I know I do.
