For a chemical bond I always do wet out and all fill coats in one go, allowing (with Mas epoxy) about four hours maximum between coats. The fill coats are there to fill the weave so one can sand smooth without cutting the glass. If one waits too long then keying the wet out coat will damage the glass.

Regarding the interior: I give it two fill coats inside because I will never adequately get into that space again. Boats tend to rot from the inside, so I take no chances.
