Yes indeed! Before putting the skeg in I stripped off the exterior fibreglass, re-did it with a tight weave glass and ended up going from 20kgs down to 18kgs with the skeg included:) My main motivation this time round is I have a leak in the rear which I think might be due to some poorly done deck fittings. The only way to get to them was take the top off:)
