This weekend I will be joining the hull and deck of my strip Redfish Silver. The boat is all glassed and the fit between hull and deck is good. But there is no epoxy on the thin edges of the hull and deck where they meet. Should I put a thin seal coat on that before joining the hull and deck? Or, will the epoxy that I use when taping them together seep into this area and seal? Recommendations? Thanks much.
