You shouldn't need a lot of epoxy for a Yost fuselage-frame SOF. If I remember right, it's mostly used to coat the frames and bond the gunwales, chines and beams to the frames. All good exterior plywood uses waterproof glue so you could get by with coating the frames and components with varnish or tung oil. Just lash the frame together. It's very traditional and strong. Any glue-ups (like scarfs) could be done with an epoxy kit like G/Flex or T88.
