Ok, I'm letting self doubt creep in a little bit...

I'm building a Night Heron full stripper and talked myself out of (2) layers of 3.2oz glass on the hull opting instead for (1). Its only a day paddling boat near sand beaches.

I've already got 1 fill coat on the (1) layer of 3.2 oz satin weave. I did reinforce the stems with another layer of 3.2oz.

My question is: will it be strong enough for a day paddle/play boat? and could I use 4 oz. S-glass on the inside to compensate for the lost strength on the outside?

My building partner and I have been over this subject many times and he likes the idea of (2) layers of 3.2...just wanted to mention that so his "voice" has been heard.
