Re: Strip: What is a good play boat design? *PIC*
In Response To: Strip: What is a good play boat design? (Rick)
I've got an Impex Force 4 that I enjoy paddling, but it is anything but a play boat. I would like to be able to play in the waves a bit more with more control. I don't have much experience in the waves and the Force always breeches on me when I try to play around with it. I have an interest in strip building and was thinking it would be nice to build a boat that was easier to play with. Something I could control with my hips more (and paddle obviously). I am about 200 lbs...foot is 11 1/2 size shoe. The "Play" looks like it would be a little too small. Any suggestions for other designs that might be a good fit for what I am looking for would be appreciated.
Have you looked at a BTD Frej? John Abercrombie recently built one.
