Being in central New Hampshire, I would be willing to go to Quoddy Head for such a gathering. However I would like to suggest a different time and location and the reasons why. Plattsburgh, New York has a very beautiful long beach on the southern facing shore of Cumberland Head. There is camping available right there. It is within 5 hours drive of New York City, Boston, Albany, Ottawa and Montreal. And the Autumn is beautiful on Lake Champlain, perhaps middle October.
