I will not use Dewalt Bullit Point drills to drill holes in cedar.
I had reviewed the video on Maroske fittings made from glue-sticks on YouTube and was ready to drill the holes in the deck of my most recent build. The video author recommends using a Forstner bit but I did not want to dull one my Forstners in the fiberglass. So I reached for the Bullit point, thinking it would cut cleaner than a standard drill bit. Alas, those Bullits are extremely aggressive and it lifted the glass of the deck in about a 1/8" circle around the hole and blasted through the wood so fast it shredded the cedar underneath.
I used a somewhat dull Hanson to drill the rest of the holes and it did an excellent job.
