+1 for Rob's reply, had that happen to a paddle,I sanded the edge down to the wood then heated the epoxy and the wood paddle,carefully pried open the delimitation with a spatula
filled the gap and let stand for a few min., squeezed and taped well.when hardened sanded smooth and put a bead of thickened epoxy on the edge for good measure that was 2yrs ago still going strong Nick R.
