I had the same issue with a Petrel build. I had glassed both the exterior and the interior. I put it in the sun and forced it back to the design width. Later on I had some fiber failure in the glass on the outside which I had to address. Doing it again, I would force the hull outward in a couple of steps. Sun and black plastic is the way to go.
