I was given a beautiful piece of Ipe 5/4 x11 1/4 9 feet long. I think it would make nice rails and thwarts on the canoe I'm building. (a little heavy maybe but nice) Does anyone have experience with this wood. My concerns are:
Can I glue it?
Will it bend?
Any input/ advice would be appreciated
