Yes, I have gotten a lot inspiration from Franks site. His folding rig it totally clever and I love it. I love his sliding outriggers too, where you just slide them in toward the hull. But both take away for the light weight, easy to store aspect I was originally interested in. If you want to trailer it and store it is on a trailer it is great way to do it.

I was thinking one person breaking it down and being able to car top or kayak trailer and then be able to store it with the kayaks. I can't think of any ramp around here we launch kayaks from regularly, we have lots of shore line launches and the idea was to be able to launch the Tri that way. But to do this you're going to have 3 hull, 2 outriggers and a mast to set up and break down and that doesn't fit my concept of quick and easy.

If you're willing to trailer it, that changes the picture a lot. But it also imposes some limits that just don't fit in my original plan. I still think this is a very doable project, just not what I originally envisioned and for now I have decided to pursue this.
