I have sailed a Supernova trimaran, which was designed so a father and son could take it from car top to water in 20 minutes. No part was over 65 lbs. and the outriggers attached to the cross bar tramp with bungees that had a keyhole clip on the ends. The structural attachment was all done with metal pins that went trough the hulls and the keyhole clip locked them in place. They also used lashings for the standing rigging, which are much faster than shackles and sat-master type, lighter and cheaper too. I really think the Supernova has a lot of good ideas. Here is a link to the manual. Most of it covers initial setup, which you only do once. It was the only place I could find pictures of the hull attachment. The way the tramp is used to car top is really smart too.
