Dan, beautiful work. Do you think the hole size would be more noticeable on a lighter colored deck? I saw an early post where you said you used mini glue sticks for single lines and the larger ones for double lines. Are the mini sticks about .28"? Or 8mm? ;-)

I wouldn't want to guess about the looks. If you use more than one line in the larger hole they shouldn't be as noticeable as most of the hole is plugged with lines. A single line in a big hole should be more obvious. I'd make a mock-up with some scrap wood of the same species and decide for yourself.

Sizes: I had to check. The mini sticks were 0.28". The full size were 0.5".

Also are the perimeter lines on the Sea Racer bungee or a matching black cord?

The perimeter lines are 3/16" polyester cord. The deck lines are 1/4" bungee.
