In Response To: Skin-on-Frame: Morris footrest position (Gaidheal)

Not having the book in front of me and to be honest not knowing where it is exactly, I'm guessing the 4" is the room between the back of the coaming and where you sit. The back of the coaming is not a back rest, sitting there you'll move the center of balance back to far.
