I think all kayaks should have at least a perimeter line on them, they are awfully slippery when you're in the water and without lines pretty easy for it to get away from you.

I am not saying don't use line, only paddle it first to determine what you need, the micro is a different animal. Would you be using a spray skirt? Is it a single or tandem? Dumping the micro is more like dumping a canoe, one would have to work at it . I do not think it will be a craft to attempt rolls... best rh
