I'm trying to figure out how to get the one-piece molded seat out of my plastic VCP Avocet. There are 2 big screws just outside the coaming, but I think it's also glued in place. Should I just pry it out? Heat it up first? And then, if I get it out, what should I use to glue it back in? Goop? BTW, the reason I want to get it out, is to replace some bungies that are all stretched out. It isn't boat building, but I'm pretty sure someone here will have the answer. Thanks in advance!
