After a year in progress I've finished stripping the deck of my wife's Storm SLT. After starting back this year it only took 12 days to completely strip the deck. Hopefully I'll be able to keep that pace.
I've just started cutting the cockpit recess and started thinking about deck lines. I'm not crazy about the black bungees and deck lines on the Spanish Cedar deck. I've found 3/16" Marine Coyote Brown shock cord and 3/16" reflective coyote brown paracord 550.

Has anyone used 3/16" shock cord? Is it acceptable?
Will paracord 550 work for perimeter safety lines?
Thanks,
Greg
