One caution
In Response To: Epoxy: Pre preg (TMH)
Commercial prepreg is generally used with heat and compression in an oven, in order to insure both a good cure and the removal of any trapped air. While heat isn't necessary with epoxy, without compression it's quite possible to trap air under or between layers of your home-made prepreg, weakening the bond. It should be possible to minimize this by carefully rolling the material after application to force any trapped air to the edges.
