Re: Tools: Stupid Mistake, But a Great New Tool
In Response To: Tools: Stupid Mistake, But a Great New Tool (John Messinger)
I was teaching a class building fuselage framed boats and the students were struggling and not making good cuts on the stringers on the ends. That night I drove to the big box store and bought a Makita version of this saw. I needed one for a project that is coming up anyway and it turned out to be a life saver! They loved it and got much better results with it.
I need it to cut the caulking holding holding the planking on a lapstrake runabout. But I can see it is going to see a lot use trimming stringers on my boats too.
