I had a look at one of your pictures (it's a bit difficult to get to even one of the pics- can you provide a direct link that bypasses the 'Join' page?) and I think you can repair this fairly easily.

It seems to be the typical Pygmy stacked plywood coaming, showing cracks in the plywood stack.

It can easily be reinforced with a couple/3/4 of layers of glass/epoxy on the outside i.e. top of coaming lip and wrapping around inside the deck (after sanding to remove any varnish and deteriorated epoxy).

Before you do that, I'd suggest getting to work with a wire brush and coarse sandpaper under the lip. Once you have a clean surface there, you can coat with epoxy to try to fill some of the cracks. Improvising a cradle and tipping the kayak up on its side (so you can work on one side of the under-lip at a time) will let you get some help from gravity. You won't need much epoxy for this step- work it in with a chip brush with bristles cut short.
