John, would you suggest clamping after the epoxy is worked in? Sorry about Snapfish.

If you can 'move' the cracked areas by hand, it can help the epoxy to penetrate. (Warm conditions also help with this...). I wouldn't 'go overboard' with clamping, but some spring clamps or lightly tightened clamps can certainly help, especially if there is a possibility of the epoxy dripping through to the other side (if you have the kayak tipped on its side).
