Hello All,
The build is moving along in my mind and on paper!
Two questions.
1. I have noticed in pictures of F1's under construction that the ribs look already cut to length. Is there a rule to work this out? IE. beam + x measurement? I am very concerned about being able to form ribs that match the design of the original boat and need every advantage to bring me closer!
2. In the write up the scalability of the boat is mentioned. I am building two kayaks, one for my wife (5'8", 130#) and mine (6', 165#). How would you scale the boat to each person or is it even worth it in this case? In their books Morris and Cunningham mention how to scale a Greenland kayak but in this case i am trying to reproduce an existing design.
Thank you
Allan
