I'm building a Guillemot design per Nick's plans and have a question regarding keel strips. On the bow side, I have about 1 strip left before I run out of inner stem. On the stern, there's enough room for at least 3 strips. When should I put the 2 keel strips on? Should they be glued to the inner stem? Sorry for the basic question.... It's my first kayak.
