Before you seal the inside you might want to do a bit of research on the Qajaq USA board. Seems to me I remember reading about someone doing experiments about coating on the inside and the results were less durable that only coated on the inside. If you really just want to keep it clean, your best bet is probably a sea sock. You can just turn it inside out and wash off the sand, and when it wears out you can easily make another one.
