John, thank you for your response. I don't think I need the shop fire. I suppose my cut line did not follow the line I had laid out, not sure how much of a gap there is perhaps something like a 1/4 inch more than I would like. I will smooth out the places where I probably over-corrected and left the smooth line.
Then.....if I were to use the thickened resin, do you have a suggestion for how to form it??
I afraid my computer skills are even lower than my boat building ability--so the picture is not very likely to make it to the forum.
