I don't think anyone believes that working with epoxy without gloves is wise.

It's those times you are doing a tiny little bonding job and and a rush and you are being extremely careful when you get some on your hands. You're not prepared for these times with all kinds of proven hand cleaners, so you use what you have. Every now and then I need to do something with the little hardware store twin tubes of 5 min epoxy - no gloves near me and I'm extra careful. Sure enough, you get some on you.

Ever get Aquaseal on your hands? I know of nothing that takes that off other than repeat scrubbings with everything in the house short of Acetone.
